KHS 2004 reunion is back again..!!

Hi friends,
Its a long time since the reunion got postponed.. Well, as written in the last post, the reunion was going to be scheduled in the 1st-2nd week of January..
And yes, the plan is back on track.. There are probable dates being thought of.. 3rd Jan and 10th Jan.. Other details will be out soon.. For the time being, I just want your thoughts and opinions on the date for the reunion.. And any suggestions (apart from deciding a different date) are welcome.. :) Put them in the comments for this blog post...

KHS Reunion POSTPONED...

Hi everybody,

In the wake of swine flu spreading rapidly, the decision of postponing the KHS 2004 reunion has been taken..
Well, considering the current situation, this would have been the most sensible thing to do, inspite of the huge amount of effort that has gone into organizing it for the 15th..
And I am sure, that most of you will agree with this decision..
So, with this decision, some obvious questions raise up..

(1) Postponed to when?

Well, considering the schedules of people and considering the fact that this Swine flu wont die down soon, the next possible date directly seems to be in January.. So, the reunion is now postponed to a Sat/Sun in the 1st/2nd week of January..
The final date will obviously be decided at a later stage in December..

(2) What if you have paid?

For people who have paid, let me tell you, its gonna be difficult again to call up and refund the amount.. So, a better and more feasible option will be implemented..
The entire amount will be safe with me (Shriniket) and I also have the entire list of all who have paid.. So, the next time, all you guys wont have the need to pay..

(3) A really IMPORTANT thing to do.. Please see this..

A lot of effort was required this time to get to people.. And it was successful to quite an extent..
But to ease things out for the next time, the contact details will be needed.. Also, a database for our KHS 2004 batch is being planned..
So for all this, you have to do a simple thing..

Important Update. Reunion finalized!

The reunion for the KHS 2004 batch has been finalized. Following are the details:

Date- 15th August
Time-5 pm to 9pm....

Venue:Ashish Gardens, D.P Road, straight ahead from Yashwantrao Chavan Natya Gruha...
The contribution is Rs.170-200.. Amount will be fixed shortly in this range.. Covers food(dinner), venue and music charges..

Payable to one of -> Shriniket/Aditya Chandorkar/Purva Bakshi/Shayari/Nikit/Nikhil Shelke/Devaki Khare/Aniket Bhave/Harshal Kajale/Aniket Anaokar/Rutuja Kshirsagar between 5th-11th Aug between 6pm-8pm at Kothrud MacD...
Anyone of us will be present in this period of 5-11 Aug, the schedule for which will be put up soon, so that you can be clear of whom to look out for, on a given particular date..

It will sure be an event to remember for quite sometime, and with a good response, look forward to meeting many old school friends and having a lovely time..

Well, as a part of the reunion plan, I plan to have one more activity which would be extremely beneficial to all of us.
And this is to create a database of all of us of the 2004 batch, which will have the contact details as well as info about what one is pursuing in life regards profession/hobby, etc.

This will primarily help all of us in two ways.. One, that it will help maintain contacts with old friends and second, the info about our profession/education/hobbies might help us anytime in the future, when we are in need..

So, along with registering for the reunion in the post below titled "Re-union attendees list",

The Re-Union attendees list

Hi everybody!!
So, the re-union is for sure to take place on the 15th of August..
And be assured, it will be a well organized event this time..

So, one important thing before we decide the final venue for the reunion is the rough count of people who will be coming for the reunion..
So, put in your name in the comments section, below this post, to count you in. Also, put in the names of the batch mates who you are in contact with, but who are not there on Orkut/Facebook or who cannot have easy net access, but will be coming for the re-union.. Put in such people's names on behalf of them.. (Just avoid repetitions, so just confirm if somebody else hasn't registered for them earlier)

Follow this procedure:
(1) Click on the "x comments" link at the end of this post ('x' will be some number)
(2) Type in your full name in the text box under "Post a comment", along with names of friends that you are entering on behalf of them (if any)
(3) Type in word verification (if any) and click on "Publish/Post your comment"

Spread this message to everybody of our batch, so that we can get to a list, as fast as possible, and can decide on a great venue for having a nice time on that day..

KHS Batch of 2004 Reunion

The re-union for the KHS batch of 2004 was long overdue..
And so finally, it has been planned, coz it might not be possible for all of us to meet after this and no one knows, where we all will land up after this year..
So, a great chance to meet old friends and class mates, catch up on things and maintain contacts..

Time: Yet to be finalized
What will be there: Well, meeting old friends, some fun filled activities, rekindling the old memories and a delicious lunch to top it up.
Venue: Yet to be finalized

And be assured, this will be a well managed event and so, make it big and memorable by being there.. Experience again, the fun that we all used to have in our school days..
